Taslima, Dilshad and Sahifa in Bangladesh

2023

Taslima Akter, 23, has been teaching for five years in the Sunamganj region. The NGO BRAC entrusted her with the mission of teaching children from neighboring villages on a School Boat. Taslima advocates for making education a priority for families and for allowing young girls to choose their future and profession. The Association supports the pedagogical training of Sahifa, a student at the school, by providing her with a scholarship. Since February 2025, we have also been supporting Dilshad, Taslima’s 16-year-old brother. Forced to interrupt his studies to help his family, Dilshad was able to return to school thanks to our support, which provides him with a full scholarship. He is now continuing his studies in the first year of the Humanities and Social Sciences program.

Maria, Mim et Maimuna in Bangladesh

2023

In the Chatkhil region, we support three young girls Mim, Maria, and Maimuna by providing them with school scholarships. Orphans of their father and with a very ill mother, they were placed under our care by their mother, who believed that education would offer them better opportunities. Thanks to her determination, the eldest, Maria, was able to avoid early marriage and continue her studies. This support allows these young girls to pursue their education in better conditions and to have a more promising future.
